Ben Breunig

Ben founded Copper Real Estate in 2022 to acquire, develop, and operate mixed-use, multifamily, and build-to-rent communities in high growth submarkets across Texas.

Prior to Copper, Ben served as Division President of Texas for Lennar Multifamily Communities from 2018 - 2022. On behalf of the nation’s 4th largest multifamily developer, he managed the Texas Division’s $1.0 billion development portfolio of luxury High Rise, Mixed-Use, Mid-Rise, and Garden communities throughout the state. 

Ben worked at Lincoln Property Company from 2007 - 2018, where he most recently served as Vice President of the Southwest Multifamily Division. While there, he acquired and developed Mixed-Use, Podium, Wrap, and Garden developments in best in-class locations with some of the top institutional investors in the nation. 

In 2005, Ben began his real estate career with his father’s company, Breunig Commercial.

Ben graduated from Yale University in 2005 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics.
